Sweet potato chips

I love making these they are the perfect for an afternoon snack i can literally eat them all by myself. I made some garlic mayonnaise to go with them but they taste great with sweet chilli sauce or really anything as well.

  • 4- 5 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • large pinch of salt
  • dried herbs (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons original mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • squeeze of lemon juice
  • pinch of salt

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius
  2. You can peel the potatoes if you like but i like to leave the skin on because it makes them crispier
  3. Cut the chips into large slices
  4. Place in a bowl with oil and salt (and herbs) and coat each slice thoroughly 
  5. Place chips on a lined tray and bake in the oven for around 30 mins or until slightly brown and
  1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well
